i have hazel eyes there medium size and i my left i has a stigmatism (can i still get it done if i have a stigma ?)
i own contacts but then my friend told me this story about her contact sliding behind her eye and getting stuck and she had to have surgery :S and the cut her eye lid open and she was like nummed but she could still see so now im paranoid :P
so how much does it roughly cost…i live in c anada…will health care cover it???

First…you don't have a stigma…you have astigmatism…it's one word.

Second, your friend is pulling your leg, or she is dreaming, because that is impossible to happen. A contact lens cannot go behind the eye. No one has ever needed surgery to remove a contact lens, that is plain false.

Yes, of course laser surgery works, it's been around for almost 20 years now. They can also correct astigmatism.

No, it's not covered by insurance and costs usually $ 1000.00 to $1500.00 per eye.

You have to be over 18 and preferably in your early to mid 20's because your vision has to be stable for at least 2 years with no changes.

All laser centers offer free consultations to see if you are a candidate , so if you are old enough to start with , you could give a clinic a call and set up an appointment.

My friend who was baby sitting took him to the emergency vet (afterhours) and they ended up having to do surgery to put the eye back in all the way. The next morning when I got home from work, his eye was completely covered in a thick yellow puss. I called the vet and got him an appointment. They didn't like what they saw, but got the puss off and gave me medicated eye drops, antibiotics and pain killers (E.R. never did).

We started the medications last night at 5 or so, and there was still some swelling under his eye a yellow puss leakage. I was told that that's normal, just as long as his body isn't producing more puss.

I got up this morning to check and my boyfriend tried to wipe his eye. There wasn't anymore leakage and the swelling had gone down some, but the puss on the eye lid had "hardened"…it's not coming off when we wipe. We can only use the medicated eye drops 4 times a day.

Long story, short, What can I safely use on his eye to get enough/all the puss out to get the medication in?

dab it with a warm cloth and keep a close eye a it until he goes to the vet

im gfetting more surgery to get it fixed because i get made fun of sometimes :(
Don't be self-concious. If a lazy eye is all that's wrong with them, then it's not a problem. I have one too (granted, my irises are larger than average and my pupils are out of place. blame the surgeries), so it's no problem. If you start getting irritated by it, get it fixed. But otherwise, it shouldn't be a turn-off. If it is, then they don't love you for who you are, lazy eye and all.

Probably. Cosmetic surgery is pretty common in Korea, with the top cosmetic surgery procedure being double eyelid surgery. It's really no big deal for them. Most celebrities have had some form of surgery done.
